Can you tell me what type of staff we would have to have? We are currently in the mental health business. Where can we locate additional information on how to get started?

Hi Julie,
Thank you for connecting with me. Are you a SLP? Regardless of your profession, start by visiting the Better Business Bureau or another support organization in your community. Seek support for writing a strong business plan. When hiring, think in terms of skill sets. You need trustworthy, capable people who can: 1. manage the non-therapy tasks such as scheduling, billing, accounts receivable, inventory, and customer relations 2. manage the therapy services such as recruiting/retaining staff, mentoring, team leadership… 3. provide excellent therapy services according to your mandate 4. build your brand and market you …
A business mentor is really helpful. Start small then bloom as your capacity to serve grows.
Let me know if I can help in any other way

I think it’s great that you are helping people market their speech therapy services online. People in your profession, and others too, get overwhelmed by the technical aspects of starting a business online. They really do need a mentor to help them along. Good luck with it.
